Design Pattern is an investigation tool to reflect on roles and practices of design into the innovation contexts. Today the debate about design for social innovation is strongly turned and move the designer as professionist toward new disciplinary areas. Starting from that, Design Pattern aims to analyze the phenomenon studying models (or to say better, pattern) and existing methodologies. Thanks to a selection of cases analysed I made a proposal to evaluating contemporary innovation practices. The aim of the book is to open new spaces to thinking and debating the role of designer as "social accelerator" and anticipatory future scenarios.
