409 John Wesley Dobbs is currently owned by Goode Van Slyke Architecture. Due to its arrangement of skylights and proximity to the Old Fourth Ward Neighborhood, this location has been chosen for the proposed site of give + take.
Upon entering the lobby, a user gravitates towards the public art gallery, which serves as a transitional space into the to the organization's studios. A modular framework allows flexibility to interchange and remove if needed to accommodate a larger party.
The wet bar has been located near the event hall to be used for events, but is also a refreshment station for members.
The open workstations can double as a place for members to serve their credit of community service. A member can either use the facility for social promotion of the organization, or can plan and organize upcoming events and classes.
