Pomona Movie Poster Series
While in London, I was exposed to live theatre almost every night. One play that really left an imprint on me was the play Pomona written by Alistair McDowall.
This macabre story focused on a young woman who is searching for her lost sister. There were many twists and turns through out the show that left the audience completely disoriented and craving more.
I was lucky enough to have an acting workshop with the director Ned Bennet. I had been interested in creating a fictional movie poster series based on this play and asked for his thoughts. He had never like the plays original marketing – to the right – and thought that there should be a darker vibe or possibly a graphic novel style with the Cthulhu character playing central role.
