Created by partners Camila Puccini and Melina Knolow, Ada is the realization of everything they believe. The brand’s intent is to celebrate women in history. The name was inspired by Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace, the woman who created what is reconized as the first algorithm intended to be carried out by a machine.

 

The first collection is composed by six pieces, each named after a strong female figure, such as Audre Geraldine Lorde, civil rights activist who was influentional in the Afro-German Movement, and Almerinda Farias Gama, brazilian feminist activist.
The pieces are minimalist to allow the women who wear them to be free from trends and be able to create a look that fits perfectly in their personality and style.

Ada prioritizes natural fibers and raw materials 100% made in Brazil and respectful of animal rights. All the leftovers from production are donated to Patas Dadas, a non-governmental organization that makes blankets and beds for cats and dogs, repurposing what would be considered waste in traditional industry.
