This illustration was created for Rocket Fiber, a Detroit-based fiber-optic internet service provider startup, for their 404 Error Page. The fun, looping animated GIF features a rocket ship floating stranded in space, complementing the company's logo. It was in the Quicken Loans family of companies and later acquired by Everstream.

This project aimed to create a fun, looping animated gif for their 404 Error Page featuring a rocket ship floating stranded in space. The company logo features a Rocket Ship; my goal was to use a hi-fi version of the logo to fit with the rest of the illustrations. It represents reaching a lost URL on their website, I chose the theme of floating lost in space.The floating theme of being lost in space on the 404 Error Page embodies the sensation of feeling disoriented and unsure when faced with an error page. Its purpose is to assure you that you're not alone and that we're readily available to guide you back on track.

I used a minial color pallet of Blue, and White, with Red as an accent color. Representing the modernity of the company. As a tech company in 2015 the creative director and I aligned on a goal to create a distictly minimal brand. Using thin outline strokes to represent the thin lines of fiber optic cable that is laid in the ground.
