The Wild Life Magazine is a magazine for animal lovers much like myself. For this project I designed a magazine cover and a two-page spread focusing on the issue of Zoochosis and the effects it has on animals. The term zoochosis describes a repetitive behavior pattern of animals in captivity. These behavior patterns do not have any purpose or goals.
This piece was created using a combination of stock photography and personal photography. The warm color scheme helps the reader to feel the heat and the dust of the animals natural environment. The bold typeface represents the strength and the power of the animals and is used throughout the design to create a cohesive feel.
