Skateboard Bicycle Rack

After realizing the problem, that it is very difficult to ride a bike while holding a skateboard, I began to research and design a skateboard rack that would attatche to my bike. I wanted it to work with any kind of skateboard and not get in the way of the rider.
My first prototype was a piece of carboard cut into the shape I thought would work for the project. In my testing phase, I found out that peiople thought it looked odd to have such a large thing hanging off of the bike, furthermore, I found that it was difficult for me to get my leg over the new rack when I was mounting or dismounting the bike.
In order to further test what the limitations were with my skateboard rack design, I built a second prototype that would be semi-functional. I built it out of plywood, skrews and clamps that I bought at a local hardware store ($10 for 22 clamps, I couldn't afford not to buy them!)
The skateboard rack accepts most skateboards (provided they arn't to thick or too heavy) and allows the rider use of both hands to operate the bike.
In future iterations, I hope to improve the clamp design to hold the board more securley and also make operating the device easier. I would also like to change the mounting point from the seat to the seat post to make it work with more bicycles.
