Function of advertising to some extend corresponds to “the art of religion”, which operates the same way as myths and storytelling in primitive societies. Hidden messages in advertising take control over our decision making and try to convince us that if we follow what they say we will experience happiness and success. Therefore in my limited edition I explore the idea of choice - what is our choice in the marketplace and to what is this choice leading us. Advertising is a selective reality, and as such it defines what kind of people we could be and what kind of lives we could live. I decided to literary explore the idea of what would happen if a consumer tries to follow everything advertisements propagandize. In my limited edition verbs, collected from existing ad slogans, are used as representation of orders. They are combined in groups of two, so that the consumer would have to choose between one of them and follow the order. I explore the idea of what is important to the reader and how he could interpret and engage with the message and give it a new meaning.
In terms of authorship I explore the idea of tearing down information, reconstructing it and twisting it in new meanings.

All cards are letterpressed and handmade!
The forward to the project is composed by found adjectives in advertising slogans and is aiming 
to satirize the utopian world of consumerism we live in.
