This edition took place on 18–20 July 2014 in Viseu, Portugal.

I worked as a freelance designer to collaborate and work on some of the materials, namely the website, symposium proceedings, and an informational brochure.

I collaborated with Miguel Carvalhais, who designed and developed the website, by constructing the program pages for Invisible Places and Sounding Cities. This involved expanding upon the existing design to accommodate a schedule and a listing of audioworks or papers, as well as the actual development, in HTML and CSS, guaranteeing its responsiveness.

I was responsible for the design and pagination of the symposium proceedings.

Attending to the theme of the symposium and expanding on the concept behind the poster, I chose to use graphics of a spectrogram from an audio piece. On the papers themselves I opted for a clean and straightforward design, as to not hinder readability.

I also designed a five-fold brochure (21x13cm), which included the program for the symposium and exhibitions, as well as a map indicating where they would take place.

When unfolded, each side of the brochure, pertains to one part of the event, making the distinction of events related to the symposium (Invisible Places) and the exhibitions of artistic events (Sounding Cities).
