About the Project
Remembrance is a project that documents different objects from different people. These objects connect them with certain somebody and the moments that they had together. It is based on emotional memory which allows a person to pick pieces of their memories with the strongest emotion from the object. The emotion focuses more on love. This project also contains true stories.

Project Background and Objective
We are so occupied with our work, studies, and technology nowadays. We are so busy that sometimes we forget to thank people in our life. When was the last time we are being grateful to those people who have given us those special memory?

This project is to turn those everyday life object into object that contained different stories to tell about a person and their loved one: parents, friends, first-love, etc. The objective of this project is to make people stop a moment and to be grateful for their moments with their loved one in life.
Story Writers
Some of the stories were written by the participants and some of them were actually re-written based on the interview answers that they had given. It was certainly not an easy task for them to answer few of the questions and to talk about this topic. Some of them felt awkward when they shared their stories with me. Some actually expresses their love here because they have never told to the person how precious he/ she was in their life. Some even laughed and cried, when they shared their stories. And I myself can feel how grateful they are to the person that gave them the memory of being loved.

"You can just feel the details. The bits and pieces you never bothered to put into words. And you can feel these extreme moments, even if you don’t want to. You put these together and you get the feel of a person, enough to know how much you miss them.”

- Leonardo in Memento (2000)
