This project was a redesign of the DVD case and poster for the film, The Lives of Others. I used rough,
handmade textures to convey the gritty lifestyle of the protagonist’s environment. The logotype was
designed to express the themes of privacy and voyeurism.

Motion Title
This is a re-imagined motion title sequence for the movie The Lives of Others. The movie was set in post WWII East Berlin and I tried to carry the motif of communism, the GDR and a surveillance police state throughout the sequence. The style was inspired by Bauhaus and Constructivist art.
