Defining a common sense for the meaning of beauty seems to be an impossible task. What we all have in common is our natural fear of the unknown. This is why most people feel a little uncomfortable or anxious thinking about our world’s oceans and their mysterious inhabitants. “WTF Is Ocean” approaches the topic of this misunderstood, vast, unknown space and portrays its beautiful, fascinating and simply unbelievable sides.
Centre of the project is Din A5 hand bound book that includes 5 categories of stories of the most beautiful, majestic, extraordinary sea creatures. In addition there is a poster series of 5 matching illustrations. The book, as well as the posters have been printed on a risograph in a limited edition of 15 copies. Each package, including the short story book and the illustration series, is bundled in a white glossy snazzy bag.
