Hermoso Cariño is a unique gift shop with two amazing ingredients: new talent and outstanding design. The catch? They’re both Mexican in the least expected way: less traditional, more contemporary. This shop is the perfect place to find a gift for someone you deeply care about that will leave an imprint in their minds.
Inspired by the name of the store, Hermoso Cariño, which is also the title of a classic Mexican love song, La Tortillería wanted to preserve some tradition in its brand while highlighting its elegance. Therefore, the gold foil and letter-pressed details, which lie perfectly on the black and kraft paper palette, were the perfect choice to bring out the essence of the brand: reinventing the future without forgetting the value of culture.
Not only we developed a balanced new identity, but we created an entire close-knitted system for the brand to exist in different applications, including bags, labels, stickers and tags, which add the final touch to every piece that lives in this eye-opening space making people feel a little bit more in love.

Hermoso Cariño es una tienda de regalos única con dos ingredientes clave: nuevo talento y excelente diseño. ¿Su atractivo? Ambos son mexicanos de una manera inesperada: menos tradicional, más contemporánea. Es la tienda perfecta donde se encuentra el regalo ideal para alguien que apreciamos profundamente y que al mismo tiempo, éste detalle deje huella en su mente.
Inspirados por el nombre de la tienda, Hermoso Cariño, que a su vez es el título de una canción de amor clásica mexicana, La Tortillería quería preservar algo de tradición en la marca y al mismo tiempo destacar su elegancia.
Por lo tanto, los detalles en dorado metálico y los impresos en letterpress, que descansan perfectamente sobre a paleta color negro y papel kraft, fueron la elección perfecta para resaltar su esencia: reinventar el futuro sin dejar a un lado el valor cultural.
No sólo desarrollamos una nueva y equilibrada identidad. Hemos creado todo un sistema de marca estrechamente unido a ella para que esta exista en distintas aplicaciones, incluyendo bolsas, etiquetas, pegatinas y etiquetas, las cuales añaden el toque final a cada pieza que vive en este revelador espacio, haciendo que las personas se sientan un poco más enamoradas.
