Bridges are structures caryying roads or path ways over an obstacle. I wanted to caputure the element of going underneath bridges, structures we see everyday but don't really pay much attention to. I wanted to caputre the experience of going through bridges, showing how they all have the same structural elements but the light and materials are different for each.
The first four photos were taken on top of the bridges, most of which involved car lights or street lights, the last set of photos represented what we see when we are not on the bridges and when we are actually looking at the structures. I wanted to explore all elements of the structures to get a feel for how each area differs and whether the surroundings have an effect of the experience of travelling through or on the bridges.
