A monument of 105 m height symbolizes a new direction in the history of Kazakhstan and is built to memorize the transfer of the capital of the republic from Almaty to Astana in 1997. The first drawings were made on a napkin by the President Nazarbayev.

A huge shopping mall in Astana by Norman Foster. Includes a bunch of bars and restaurants, gyms, movie theaters and an indoor sea beach with a wave pool. The building's highest point is at 150 m.
