Intangibility to Tactility

The work is representative of rhythm, the never-ending rhythm of the earth via seasons.  Further, seasons form the basis of all other rhythm in life and this work conceptualises the intangibility of repeating seasons into tangible textures utilising visual forms.

The Spring, Autmun and Winter seasons are each represented by a direct visual motif, a flower for Spring, falling leaves for Autum and a snowflake for WInter. Further, each motif explores a different paper manipulation technique. Modular origami, Iris folding and origami for Spring, Autumn and Winter respectively are used.
