Sometimes a band straddles the fence between genres, making it difficult to brand them. If the band was metal, there’s a style for that, likewise for pop music. However, Fighting For Ithaca jump the line between hardcore and pop punk, making it difficult to maintain a consistent brand. This design uses simple typography for readability and recognition, with custom distressing, to show their ‘edgy’ side. No matter what the band has designed for them, whatever style it is, the distressing added to it will maintain the brand. Everything designed for the band is aimed to be sold to teenage girls, as this is the demographic for their music.
