Ojigi means greeting in Japanese, and is represented by these two ceramic pieces that may contain and serve
different sauces, ranging from soy sauce, teriyaki, to even olive oil. The intention with these pieces was to make the design more human. This brings to mind the traditions of respect and union.
As a designer I have been always fascinated by the Japanese culture and cuisine, I decided to design a piece that may
not only reflect this famous greeting ritual with its one simple bowing gesture, but also become an object
to be talked about on the table. The combination of colors always comes with one in white and the other
in black, blue or light yellow
