Elastic and black polyester threads used for the warp
Here i used for the weft a Nylon thread. These two pictures represent the same weaving but one shows the weaving stretched while the other shows it untighten...

Weft : polyester thread whose color reminded me of a stocking
On these three pictures i used scraps of stockingd to weave. It was interesting to observe the reaction of stockings with elastic threads. Think it brought a rythm and some volume.
On this last weaving there is no more elastic thread and stockings reacted on a totally different way... The result is more floppy and fragile.
For my graduating jury i wanted to work on and with sotcking. The elasticity of a stocking given by the knitting and the elastic thread made me curious if i could apply it to a weaving (which is normally not known for its elasticity). Looks like it can work but with a fine thread in weft.
