Suspicious Anatomy

Created in collaboration with writer Wythe Marschall, Suspicious Anatomy exists as a book, a performance lecture and a portfolio of images which seek to address the sublime terrors of possessing a body.  Written from the perspective of  "medicologists" practicing within "The Hollow Earth Society's Hermaneutic Medical Symporium", the guidebook explores the dark inner terrain of the Cranius, a sinister organ somehow related to the human head whose systems become more evil which each dissected layer.  The project is a love letter to, and a sendup of,  medical science: a field which describes our most intimate workings with layers of nigh impenetrable jargon.   A parody of biology primers, Suspicious Anatomy desires to uncover through fraud what Herzog describes as the "ecstatic truth".
