I pitched, won and launched Ford Motor Company's answer to car-sharing platform, ZipCar.

Ford were launching their own car sharing service, GoDrive, in London. They needed to raise awareness of the service online and stand out in a saturated market.

The brand was in it's infancy, so I had free-reign to evolve the look and feel from scratch, working closely with the Ford team at every stage. As the new kids on the block I wanted to create something fresh and bold which jumped out on social feeds. It needed to feel vibrant and fun, so that no matter the message the user would be engaged by the imagery.

While the competitors were focusing on the cars, in our concepts I decided to focus on the drivers and the benefits of the service to them. I concepted each post, and worked with (the amazing) illustrator Thomas Burden to bring each visual to life.

Each post was designed to create a band of colour, which in the white stream of the social feed makes them eye-catching. To enhance this further we also introduced subtle animation. Every post pushed Facebook's 20% text rule to its limit (a big consideration at the time), ensuring we made the most of the visual space we were allowed.

What could've easily been just another stock image campaign, became a vibrant online campaign with real stand out. Leaving us with a very happy client
