Brief: To design an alternative for an existing household product, keeping in mind the ergonomic principles, visual semantics and develop efficient and user friendly techno-aesthetic details.
PACKET SEALER CLIP
Sealing clips are great for keeping leftovers sealed. They are used in every household and are found to be very useful. The grooves inside the clip are designed to make any packet between them air tight.
It is a widely used product, but that does not remove room for error.
After using it for about 2 months, problems started popping up.

The products life is very short. Due to constant use, parts like the living hinge, the snap lock and the whole body to a certain extent starts wearing off. Due to these complications the product is unable to perform its function:
1)Breaking of living hinge
2)Loosening of the snap lock
3)Bending of body
