THE WOODS : DEFORESTATION CAMPAIGN

The Woods was a deforestation awareness campaign from College, driven by distaste for fast food corporations and the Palm Oil industry; focusing on McDonalds and KFC. 

The main deliverable was the poster, printed on large banner material, around 1200mm x 600. I used this project as an oppurtunity to boast my love for trees, mainly drawing trees. 
 
The idea behind the campaign was to encourage the people at the exhibition to read the facts about desforestation, collect a bag of seeds from the bowl and go home to plant them where they please - (one of the boards illustrated how the seeds are grown). I screen printed around 100 mini seed bags, with ‘The Woods’ Logo, laser cut coasters from recycled wood, printed T-shirts.
