THE DENNISON HOTEL

Our cities have existed before us and will continue to do so after we are gone.
We have inherited them.

Walking trough the streets of Over the Rhine in Cincinnati I saw a poster by the local artist Phil Armstrong warning on the upcoming demolition of a 124 years old building just a few blocks away from where I was staying. That building was the Dennison Hotel. It reminded me of what I've experienced way to many times in Buenos Aires: total contempt for urban heritage.

Cincinnati's beauty lies not just in its iconic skyscrapers and monuments but specially on each of its anonymous alleys and buildings. Buildings just like the Dennison Hotel. I trully hope it gets saved.
