Arithmetic Fight - Educational Game | Age group: 10+

The primary motive behind the design process was to bring the kids  out of the “SCREENS” and creating an
physical environment where they can interact with each other. As a guideline of making a educational game
we came up with the idea of designing a hybrid gaming experience to blend education, fun and lust for video
games among the kids.

Its a 5X5 square grid game tends to teach and perform, basic mathematical operations quickly. This game can be
played among two players. Where players try to perform mathematical operation between any two number
chip (1-10) he/she had in order to eliminate the opponents number chip from the board.
On the hybrid side an application which is designed in Unity monitors the board scenario and invoke various
options, surprise factors after each elimination of chip and levels.

The user study and testing has been carried out with various students of different age group and backgrounds
during various stages to incorporate the changes and modifications.

The study has been also carried out by letting them play with their parents or an adult as an opponent to check
the possibility of the game as a learning aid, which turned out quite well.
