Swagoo: 1. A combination of the words "Ragu" and "Swag" 2. The sauce that would drip off you if you had excessively "mad swagg".
This was a project that I created for a class final; It involved creating a graphic dsign inspired by one of the many great designers on our list. I decided to do my project on "Herb Lubalin", the creator of the type font "Avant -Garde ITC", and easily one of the greatet Graphic Designers and Typographers of his time. Some say his work was far beyond his generation and I could not agre more.
This was an in class ad campaign design project for pain relievers in which we had to make an ad for our assigned pain relievers. I was assigned Advil for my ad campaign. We were encouraged to "think outside of the box" and to "stray away from cliches." Instead of expressign my ideas through images, and considering those images could not be used from the internet unless we bought them or they were free and of high wuality, I went with what I knew best and that was typography. As a whole the three pices read "Faster, Stronger, Relief."
