Philosophers Cabaret

PHILOSOPHER'S CABARETReality, Perspective & Opposites.
The Philosopher's Cabaret was an end of the semester event hosted by the Pierce College Sociology & Philosophy Department and the Pierce College Philosophy Club. I volunteered my self to handle all event flyers and promotional materials and in turn, granted full creative license and the tenure claim for that position. The promotion campaign lasted from the Spring of 2010 to the Fall of 2011. All flyer layouts were 8.5in by 11in to allow for ease of distribution and printing. We stuck to this standard size because we had limited budgets. Then we found out our student association was very generous after the fact. =/
Spring 2010
The hero here is Friedrich Nietzsche with his signature moustache.
Spring 2010Jean-Paul Sartre with his signature eye glasses.
 Fall 2010
Spring 2011Here, I decided to ditch the illustration of Nietzsche after 3 semesters. The illustration makes sense after reading the headlines and sub-head.
Fall 2011
Nietzsche makes a comeback by request of the program director.
Fall 2011
Even though this iteration was the most popular one, it wasn't chosen because the program director oh-so loved Nietzsche. Of all the flyers, this one is my fav =)
