THE FIRST WING BEATS
This object is made for the LightBody performance, which shows different kind of 'light jewelleries' on dancers.
I was inspired by the birth of a butterfly from its egg and the short life of it. So the appearing light in my jewel means the unfolding from darkness. I would like to visualize the first, looming, still longing to hide wing-beats by the movement of combined and variable elements and the illumination.
