FRESHFARM Economy of Food Campaign

This here is a preliminary concept to an employer's Economy of Food social media campaign. Through our campaign, we hope to simply educate our viewers on the hidden cost of locally raised or produced food. Examples of questions that we often hear from customers at farmers markets include: why are the eggs and mushrooms particularly expensive? What goes into growing an apple? How long and demanding is the process of making goat cheese?

Our goal is to visit a new farmer or producer each month. We'll interview our hosts about what their livelihood involves, how much labor and materials cost, and what they want consumers to know about their rigorous process. With photos taken on sight by our team photographer, I will design and publish social media campaigns for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and write blog posts on the regular.

These images are a taste of what's to come.
