1988 Visual identity

Our lovely client Slogan, an independent music artist who just released his new album, challenged us to create an outstanding visual identity for it. The album itself stands out for its pioneering timbre and so we organically based our concept on the greek word "ηχόχρωμα" [ixóxroma] (“ ήχος=sound + χρώμα=color”), which translates to “timbre”. The combined use of bright-fluorescent color gradients communicates the continuous and evolutionary music flow of the album in a classy, yet minimal way. The use of typography was kept To a simplistic minimum and despite its absence, the cover design still exhales dynamism. Our mission was to deliver a full package of design and promotional materials: logo, cover design, posters, banners and a website with a visual language that will not go unnoticed. After all, a dope MC deserves a dope look & feel.
