The American Royal, iconic of Americana, is an event that happens annually in Kansas City showcasing BBQ, rodeo, equine, and livestock. Typically, the branding for the event is...predictable.

I wanted to shake things up a bit.

In an effort to appeal to the younger, arts and tech community that is growing in the KC Metro area, I have carried forward the branding and contextual elements of the event into a more modern, colorful design.
