PROCESS/CHALLENGE:
Librarians from the IUPUI University Library came to our Visual Communication 4 team for help promoting and understanding of a librarian's role in an academic library. After thoroughly researching the library, its audiences, and context, we presented our findings to the library. We noted specifics in the categories of marketing and experience.
OUTCOMES:
We developed a marketing campaign as well as new solutions to improve the overall experience of the library, including interaction (student to librarian, librarian to faculty, faculty to student), wayfinding, and interior aesthetics.
