About Maria
Maria Jarzyna - Born in 1997 in Katowice, Poland. Currently a student of Józef Pankiewicz School of Fine Arts in Katowice. She was also a student of a music school, that's why her works has always been strongly related to music. Passionate about both jazz and classical music, photography, design and visual communication. As a photographer, her forte is portrait. She captures people and music. When it comes to design she always tries to make it as simple and clear as it's possible (and form should always follow function). Despite her young age Maria has already collaborated with musicians such as Ambrose Akinmusire, Vehemence Quartet, Szymon Mika, Mike Parker and others. Her greatest inspirations are photographers (Francis Wolff, Irving Penn, Autumn de Wilde), designers (Dieter Rams, Massimo Vignelli) as well as musicians (Charlie Haden, Wayne Shorter, Arnold Schoenberg).
