COMPANY SUMMARY
Wind Riders seeks to provide delicious and simple herbal tea that will bring a smile to everyone’s face. Using only quality ingredients, we have carefully crafted each blend of various buds, roots, flowers, and tea leaves so you can have your own fresh home-brewed cup of tea.

The origin of the name, Wind Riders, comes from a myth that the emperor of ancient China, Emperor Shennong, was the first to discover tea:

Before drinking water, Emperor Shennong always had it boiled and set by the window to cool. One day as it was cooling, a gust of wind rustled the trees outside and blew in a leaf that landed directly into the Emperor’s water. He took a sip, and was shocked to find that the leaf had completely changed the flavor of the water in the best way possible. It was delicious!
It is after that first leaf that rode the wind straight into becoming the first cup of tea that Wind Riders® is named.
He always had his water boiled before drinking it, and when it was just too hot, he set it near the window to cool. One day, a large gust of wind rustled the trees outside, and blew in a few leaves. A leaf landed in Emperor Shennong’s hot water and instantly changed the color. When the Emperor took a sip from his cup, he was astounded by the flavor, and ordered that everyone must try his new flavored water.

This is how the name Wind Riders came to be.
PACKAGE DESIGN
The Wind Riders tea is packaged in hexagonal shaped boxes made out of recycled paper. The top of the box folds down into curved forms emulating the shape of tea leaves.
