This is a national campaign film I did for Nissan, to announce their sponsorship of ICC, ahead of the India World Cup T20. We launced the new creative platfrom 'Ignite The Excitement' and gave people a sneak peek into two new cars. The X-Trail and the GTR. The film is currently on air.   

What was the brief?
I’ll save you the pain of reading the final, globally-approved, 50 slide monster and give it to you straight. We had to announce Nissan’s global tie-up with ICC. And we needed to say hello to India as Nissan the brand (not as specific cars).

What we did.
We had the mammoth task of showing all five Nissan cars in one 45 second TVC. And building in the cricket and brand connect. So I wrote a script that told two parallel stories. One about the excitement of cricket and one about the excitement of Nissan. It wasn’t based on a singular idea, but instead played on the excitement of the World Cup T20 during which it was played.

Brand awareness tripled. Enquiries went up by almost 60%. And the GTR sold double the number of units that were allocated for India.
