Educational Toys for Children

Barakhadi Clock
The barakhadi clock is a toy designed so that the children can learn the ‘barakhadi’ of any letter.
Barakhadi of all the consonants of Devanagari can be learned through this toy as the charts are easily changeable.
Charts of different consonants can be printed to learn the formation of a vowel plus a consonant.
This clock can also be used for other Indian scripts.

Rotating Letters
This toy is made to learn about the vowel and the letter formed when it is combined with a consonant.
This toy has three wheels on it -
the first for the consonants
the second for the vowels
the third for the letter that is formed.
The toy has a different colour on each surface so that is becomes easier for the kid to understand if he is getting right answers.
If all three colours are the same, means the child has matched the pairs properly.
Sounds of the Letter
This is an audio toy designed to learn the vowel and their sound, that is, their pronunciation. A child has to insert the right vowel into the slot to get the pronunciation of the vowel. To help the child, the letters and the space where there are to be inserted are of the same colour. This will help the children place letters correctly as they can recognize colours easily. The individual letters are thicker, so as to make it easy for the child to pull out letters from the box.
Forming Letters
- Joining Vowel Signs
This toy is designed for children so that they can learn about vowel signs and understand where to place them. The toy has all the vowel signs and a single consonant. It has magnets fitted to its parts, so as to be easily attached and removed from each other.

Forming Letters
- Forming the alphabet
This is also a toy that is played by joining various parts to form the entire alphabet.  The different parts have magnets attached to them, so as to attach and detach easily.
The breaking of the letter is done stroke-wise
Strokes and Sand
This toy is for children to learn how to write the letters. Sand is a different medium than the normal paper. Children can write with their finger, this uses one of their senses ‘touch’ and hence, makes it more likely for them to remember the letters.
The flashcards have the letters drawn on them along with the directional arrows of how to draw them.
Children can simply follow those easy directional arrows and learn the letter. The same design can be used to learn alphabets or numbers from different scripts.
