Project Brief
Create an engaging, energizing, and timeless mural for the Bethel community. The mural should appeal to all Wellness Center users, including athletes, alumni, faculty, and the general student population. The mural will be 24’ x 25’7”
Objectives and Methodology
I interviewed members of the Bethel community about how they use the Wellness Center and their thoughts on the space. Based on this research, I decided on these three primary objectives for the project.

TimelessThe mural design must last many years.
InclusiveThe mural must be all-encompassing of the Wellness Center’s users, not just one demographic. Many different people use the Wellness Center, including atheletes, alumni, faculty, and the general student population. The mural should appeal to everyone.
Motivational The mural should contribute to the uplifting, energizing, and welcoming atmosphere of the Wellness Center.
Materials
The design will be printed on a matte vinyl wall decal. The Bible verse will have a glossy finish applied.
Outcome
The illustration was hand-drawn in Adobe Photoshop. I chose a lion to represent the Bethel mascot and the Bethel community as a whole. The design is fresh and energizing while remaining classically Bethel in concept, color palette, and imagery.
