Outdoors after a rainy winter
Lisbon has very wet winters, not so cold, but really humid.
In the end of february of 2010, after 3 months of heavy rain, the sun was back to shine on the hills of the old city. For this project I wanted to capture the smiles of people in the cafes around the city.
They were all very far away and none of them saw me taking their pictures.
It was a wonderful experience, to capture peoples random happiness under the shiny sun after such a dreadful winter.
This was an analog project, the film used was ILFORD HP5 400ISO
