90th finnish-turkish friendship agreement
During my studies I had the chance to study abroad thanks to the Erasmus Project.
I lived 9 months in Istanbul, a beautiful city, where I met beautiful people
and where I grew up both in a personal and professional way.
In this project I had the great opportunity to prove myself for the first time to design a logo,
the occasion was the 90th Commemoration of Finnish-Turkish Friendship Agreement.
We were asked to produce three different solutions, and my idea was to find a symbolism
that would evoke both friendship and historical elements in common between the two Countries,
such as the maritime world and the crafts textile.
The first is represented by the node, typical nautical element, and the second by the symbol of a woven fabric,
they both have in common the idea of the bind, to symbolize the close up of an lasting friendship agreement.
It was amazing to know that the Finnish Embassy had chosen mine as the best solutions presented.
