Dispersion captures the exact process of emulsion on 35mm film being dissolved in three dimensional space. It explores the feeling of nature and visual landscapes that are created from unconventional sources.

The images seen are not simulated in any way, they are a direct representation of a chemical reaction between bleach and film emulsion. This process was then mapped into 3D space to create the peaks and valleys that are seen.

If you would like more information about my process, you can watch my Film to 3D project here which explains it in detail.
