The client asked for us to design and develop an app that allowed parents to schedule a personalized video with Santa and their child. The app also served as a platform to show the child their personalized video. The personalized video allows for parents to select a story, name of child, age, gender, location, and country, along with other things like: naughty or nice, and many more.
My role on the project was to come up with a style and some creative ideas to keep the user engaged. The challenge was to cater to both kids and parents, without letting the gift of magic out of the bag. For this project, I'm not allowed to show the other screens due to a contractual agreement with the client.
Setup for Splash Screen:
- Code generated snow
- Tag drops in when you load the app
- Tag moves side-to-side based on phone's gyro sensor
- Shake like snow globe to fun video reveal videos
- Small discret info icon to allow for necessary legal information
