SATTU - SIDE TABLE
The name it self refers to 'satu' which means one in Indonesian. This side table is the first furniture piece i created as the outcome of a project focusing in Manufacturing. The design of SATTU is inspired by the properties of its main materials which is sheet metal. Sheet metal is known to be stiff and rigid. Therefore, its form are mainly shaped through the strong folding lines. SATTU is made of 0.75mm sheet metal and 25 mm American Oak. The manufacturing process of SATTU side table involves laser cutting, sheet metal bending, powder coating and varnishing.
