This poster was created for Mumedi's 2015 To Death With A Smile international poster competition. The guidelines were fairly loose, asking designers to portray how we see death in either a serious or playful way. I chose to draw inspiration from my love for punk rock, creating a mock gig poster for Death.
While designing this piece, I referenced many rock posters of the 60s and 70s as well as Nashville's Hatch Show Print posters. But there were many variations before I even came close to the final design.
