While my client was away on a trip to the Oregon Coast, she left her master bathroom in my hands. Drawing from my client’s admiration of the beach; I looked to that for inspiration for my design. She wanted a serene space that was far from the overpowering purple she’d been living with for years. With the assistance of a local contractor and many materials meticulously selected the final transformation was a success. Everything but the substantial metal tub got a facelift; the walls even got a clean and consistent new texture on them. The new space boasts Thomasville cabinetry, quartz countertops and the tub is now enveloped in a mix of polished glass and honed stone mosaic tile. The mingling of various textures is further complimented by the sparkly crystal light fixture, mother of pearl mirror and original artwork by artist, Lupen Grainne. Both myself and my client are thrilled with the result and it is a space that my client assures me she gets excited about each and every time she enters.
