Our research into our target audience led us to the insight that some people are so competitive that they’ll rise to any challenge! We took this insight and spun it on its head to provide a lighthearted, competitive and fun platform. So, with our campaign idea, ‘The taste you’d do anything for’ we wanted to give our audience a set of sporting challenges, with a twist. We need to engage with the target market in an exciting way, while also ensuring that we close the sale. The Chai Latté Olympics is not your normal Olympic games, it’s a Multi event of unusual challenges which turn traditional Olympic games on their head: Competitors take part in variants of traditional track and field sports, going head to head until one winner emerges victorious. Unknown in this region, but made famous in the UK, ‘The King of Challenges’ is fiercely competitive, hilarious to watch and provides a platform, which Lipton Chai Latté can own and take forward.
