Royale branding and packaging

Branding a chocolate company that wants to appear as a "genuine, rich quality" was no cake. I had to do some research and find some examples of companies that look sophisticated enough to emulate and use for inspiration. Godiva was one of the companies I focused my time studying. Godiva’s look is golden, they have become successful by making their chocolate look classy and sleek. As far as tropical chocolate goes, I had to make the packaging interesting enough for a customer to look at it and say “I have to try that”. The price is a more than regular chocolate bars so in order to get the customers forget about the money, I had to make their tongue salivate first. Big images of sliced fruits did just that. It made the audience curious to try a chocolate that was blended with fruits. The Royale logo had to look just as beautiful as the packaging. What makes a brand more sophisticated by making it french? Nothing. Same goes with the packaging; Square boxes holding the chocolates made the chocolate look modern rather than the typical rectangular chocolate bars.
