The project brief was to design two different product stands using the shape of the products that were to be sold. The challenge in the project was to fabricate surfaces, with complex curves, out of a flat sheet of plastic (PETG). This was achieved using a center pillar and a complex series of ribs that would contort the PETG to form the require curve. This task required a lot of problem solving, and using materials in ways that they had not been used in the past
