T H E S T R E S S B U B B L E
I was tasked with creating an ampersand for The New Republic's books and arts section, on an article of my choosing.
This article discusses the dangers of stress, and how easy it is to become trapped and overwhelmed all the smell stressors in your life.
T H E P R O C E S S
The ampersand was molded out of burnt sugar, and then shattered.
I then arranged + photographed these shards, and inverted the colors and made touch ups in Photoshop.
