X-Stool. Inspired by Bauhaus. Desined for modern life

X-Stool is a piece of furniture that is easy in storage, transporting and assembling. It dedicated for people who like to play. X-Stool is kind of puzzle, which can assemble even a child. Inspired by furniture from Bauhaus and Japanese puzzle Chidori, it was my trying to deconstruct traditional chairs legs, twist them and find my own method of connection “wood to wood”. It has name “X-Chair” because of the shape you can see in front view.

I started with 3d-sketches in cardboard
Feels like we have a fovourite :)
So let's go to workshop!
X-Stool
There is possibility to product any size of X-Stool. Also, if you have set of 2 and more stools you can swap legs and have some numbers of different color combinations. My next step in this project – production of this set.
Size: 320 mm x 320 mm x 320 mm
Material: plywood

This project has been created for II year studies on Domestic Design, School of Form, Poznan, Poland.
