In the oriental dining culture dishes are served and shared on big metalplates. This act inspired the creation of the side table Maeaan. The tabletop is a handpressed, powder-coated aluminiumtray that can be detached to bring food and drinks from the kitchen to the living room. The base frame is made of ashwood and can be connected without needing any screws or pegs. This allows to fold the parts easily for better storage.
